In 2009 the Foundation raised nearly $500,000 in support of the Ottawa Public Library.
$10,000 in support of West –end branches from the annual Diefenbooker Run
$300,000 as a gift from the Estate of James Kowcz
$60,000 in support of Early Literacy Spaces
$40,000 for new books for adults and children from general donations
$70,000 in support of OPL programs and services from general donations
