The Ottawa Public Library Foundation is a leader among library foundations. The Foundation's work and passion inspires local citizens, corporations, other foundations and partners to become strong champions for the Library and to make transformational gifts. The Foundation is recognized for its care and expertise in identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding donors. The Foundation is seen as a strong and inclusive community partner, working cooperatively with others to further the goals of the Ottawa Public Library.

To build support and raise funds essential to the success of the Ottawa Public Library.
The Foundation supports the Library in fulfilling its mission of "building a strong Ottawa community by supporting literacy and lifelong learning, fostering inspiration and enjoyment, and connecting people to each other and the world.
